Residents get their faces painted for parties at Hillside

Face paint was the latest craze at three separate Hallowe’en parties for the different units of Hillside Care Home.

Some of our residents opted for a spooky look, and others had love hearts and other motifs carefully painted on, for the afternoon and evening get-togethers. Family and friends were welcome to join in with nibbles and drinks in our communal lounges.

Entertainment was provided by visiting singers, Becks Hirst and a double act, Sue and Brian, who sang a mix of hit pop songs from eras old and new – and got residents, staff and relatives singing along and clapping.

Our activities staff are now planning a packed programme of festive events including more parties and a trip to see a pantomime.
