Residents of Washington Lodge Nursing Home in the North East enjoyed a knitting afternoon – showing off some impressive skills.
Our activities co-ordinator, Julie, said: “Some of our ladies are expert knitters – much better than I am – so it was great to see them in action, and learn a thing or two.
“One of our residents, Audrey, loves to knit scarves and makes them for her friends and family.”
The event tied in with the groupwide theme, “Qualia Care Gets Crating”, for the month of May.
Other recent fun has included a trip out to the nearby Olivia’s Coffee House for hot drinks and delicious cakes, and visits to Holy Trinity Church every other Sunday.View more updates from Washington Lodge
