We offer a diverse choice of empowering and fulfilling activities, with family, friends and the wider community invited to join in. Residents are supported to pursue both their personal passions and enjoy outdoor activities in our gardens and grounds.
We actively encourage and support participation in the wider community with special events, interesting trips and fun days out planned throughout the year. Our enthusiastic team is keen to support residents so they can be part of their community and get involved if they would like, making all feel welcome and included in the life of the home.
Each of our homes has a dedicated Lifestyle and Well-being Co-ordinator, who assists in organising both individual and group activities, tailored to each individual’s own skills and abilities. With a vibrant sense of community and an engaging programme that aims to provide stimulation, there’s lots of opportunities for residents to participate if they wish. Our communal areas are designed to cater to a range of social activities within the home, providing the space for sharing both cherished memories and creating new ones.
All activities are designed in harmony with a resident’s own personal interests and passions, and in collaboration with families and friends, who are always welcome to get involved and join in. Whether your loved one has an interest in sporting events, international cuisine, gardening, music or arts and crafts, our supportive staff are eager to encourage each resident to pursue their personal interests and passions.
Weather permitting, gardens are host to activities during the warmer months where outdoor games such as croquet, boules and giant chess are played. Residents may also enjoy table-top games such as cards and dominoes.
For those with green fingers, the watering and planting of seeds, bulbs, plants and flowers are popular activities in the garden, with residents growing vegetables, salads and herbs in veg trugs in season.
Our grounds are pleasant and well-kept, with garden and green spaces that can be enjoyed all year round. Our gardens are designed to improve the appearance of the home and extend the sense of community outdoors. The garden is both secure and dementia-friendly, with features such as ‘never-ending’ walkways, post boxes, telephone boxes, fountains and outside dining areas.
Our staff are on hand to listen to your needs and concerns, and to get to know you. Whether you are looking to find the right home for yourself, a loved one or a friend; or you would like to arrange a visit; or you are a professional enquiring about our services or career options, we want to ensure your experience with us will be a positive one.
