Colleagues and residents of Simonsfield Residential Care Home in Liverpool got together for a spooky Halloween party.
Though friends and family could not join us, we had plenty of fun – enjoying home-made ghoulish cakes and listening to spine-tingling hits like Michael Jackson’s ‘Thriller’ and Bobby Pickett’s ‘The Monster Mash’.
Our activities co-ordinator, Dawn, said: “Our home looked lovely with Halloween decorations filling our communal areas, and colleagues dressed up in spooky costumes to add to the atmosphere!”
Residents coloured in pictures of pumpkins in the run up to the big day – which Dawn cut out, laminated and pinned up in the foyer. We also had a Halloween quiz.
In other news, we had a combined hairdressing and tea room afternoon, during which residents had their hair washed and styled, then relaxed with a cup of tea.View more updates from Simonsfield
