Residents and colleagues of High Peak Lodge Residential and Nursing Home in Leigh, Greater Manchester, have been sent messages of support from the community, during the Coronavirus outbreak.
Our activities co-ordinator, Leanne, said “It has been really uplifting to receive postcards, letters and good wishes from people in the area during this difficult time. The local community has really pulled together to cheer us up!”
Despite the necessity to follow the social distancing regulations, our residents have all enjoyed various activities – including dancing along to music, light exercise, reading and colouring, as well as reminiscing about old times.
In other news, WhatsApp groups and FaceTime calls with residents’ families have enabled everyone to remain in contact.View more updates from High Peak Lodge
