Residents and colleagues of Hillside Nursing Home in Huyton, Merseyside, have continued to enjoy the sunny weather spells, as they spend time with their families.
Our manager, Sue, said: “Although lockdown restrictions are slowly easing up, we still have to maintain the rules around social distancing – families cannot enter the home.
“We have therefore continued to allow families to meet with our residents in the garden – enabling one family in a morning and another in an afternoon, so that everyone gets the chance to see loved ones.”
We’ve also been enjoying playing regular games of Bingo – with prizes for the winners including chocolates, costume jewellery and toiletries.
In other news, our residents have been watching a variety of old films, which they love.
