Residents and colleagues at St Mary’s Nursing Home in Moston, Greater Manchester, have been enjoying daily visits to mass, in a chapel attached to our home.
Our activities co-ordinator, Mary, said: “A group of residents like to attend the regular services that Father Austin delivers each morning at 10.30am.”
Although our activities in general are not fully back up to speed yet, residents and colleagues have been playing games of dominoes, to keep us stimulated.
Another favourite thing to do is to reminisce about old times – or merely have a one-to-one catch-up chat in residents’ own rooms.
Some of us have been getting regular fresh air in the garden and looking at magazines, while others have enjoyed listening to some classic tunes.View more updates from St Marys
