Washington Lodge prepares for Halloween

Residents of Washington Lodge Nursing Home in the North East have already begun our annual preparations for Halloween.

Our activities co-ordinator, Leanne, said: “We have started drawing Halloween pictures, which will form part of a display on the wall, in time for the end of October.”

“Although the activities will need to remain low-key due to Covid, we plan to have a party, where all of our staff – and residents who want to – can dress up in spooky attire!”

In other news, residents have been continuing to experience window visits from their families – the 30-minute slots, which are arranged by appointment, enable everyone to keep in contact, while social distancing at the same time.
