
Walton Manor Care Home in Liverpool recently paid tribute to one of its esteemed residents, a former nurse, by granting her heartfelt wish to once again wear her nursing tunic and participate in caregiving activities alongside the staff for a day.
Teresa, who devoted numerous years to the nursing profession, expressed her eagerness to assist the care team in their daily duties. Responding to her heartfelt request, the team at Walton Manor, known for their innovative approach to enriching residents' lives, provided her with a spare tunic and invited her to partake in various non-clinical, supportive tasks alongside the dedicated staff.
Toni Stirrup, the home manager at Walton Manor, shared her thoughts on this unique initiative: "We're deeply moved by the enthusiasm and spirit of Teresa. It was a joy to see her light up, wearing her tunic and being part of the team.
